Step 1:
To start the process with East Of Chicago, you will need to complete and submit the online Request Franchise Information Form. Upon receipt by East Of Chicago, we will send you information on the next steps, a brochure , FAQ and East Of Chicago Fact sheet. Each will provide additional information about our franchise opportunity. In addition, a franchise development representative will get in touch with you to answer any questions about franchise opportunities with East Of Chicago that you may have at this point in the process.

Step 2: Initial Evaluation Process
Now is the time to submit the "Request for Consideration" form. You will get to know more about us, we will get to know more about you, and we will work together toward the franchise opportunity that will be best for both of us. The Franchise Development Representative will answer any of your questions at this time and will confirm your preliminary potential as a franchisee candidate. Upon preliminary approval as a franchise candidate you will receive a copy of our Franchise Disclosure Document.

Step 3: Webinar Presentation and FDD Review
The Franchise Development Representative will send you an invitation to either meet personally or via the Web to review the details of the Franchise Disclosure Document. Upon completion of the review and the Franchise Development Representative will then provide a short 1 hour presentation of the East Of Chicago franchise opportunity.

Step 4: Discovery Day
Upon completion of the previous steps East Of Chicago will send you an invitation to attend an upcoming “Discovery Day” at our Corporate Headquarters in Lima, Ohio. Here you will see what the East of Chicago franchise opportunity and culture is all about. You'll have the chance to meet our corporate staff, ask any questions you may have, visit some of our locations and learn more about the available territories and franchise opportunities in your specific area.

Step 5: Approval Process
By law, we cannot execute contracts with you until after a minimum of 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the Franchise Disclosure Document, This is to provide you plenty of time to review the documents and make a final decision to proceed. Once you have made a decision that East Of Chicago is the right franchise opportunity for you, you will send your completed “Franchise Agreement.”, franchise fee and territory selection for approval. Upon receipt, we will schedule a formal interview with the Operations Team.

Step 6: Franchisee Training
Upon approval of the Franchise agreement the Operations Team will begin the education portion of the process. Each Individual franchisee and area franchisee will receive complete training for the operation and management of their restaurant. The East Of Chicago Operations Team will conduct a 3 week training program that will cover all aspects of East of Chicago ownership and operation. This training is designed to help franchisees develop and manage an East of Chicago pizza restaurant throughout their market area.

Step 7: Locate and Approve Site
While training the East Of Chicago Real Estate Team will assist you to find the right location and negotiate the best possible deal on your site. This is a very important advantage that can hold costs down and provide the best possible chance of success in any site-driven business.

Step 8: Construction
Upon site approval and lease signing the East Of Chicago Design and Construction Department will assist you in the design and layout of your East Of Chicago restaurant. They will also guide you in the selection of the right contractors to do your build out, as well as making sure you get the exact mix of furniture and equipment you need to maximize the efficiency of your restaurant.

Step 9: Staff Training
Once the East Of Chicago restaurant build out is completed the Operations Team will provide the necessary training and support to your staff for the Grand Opening and beyond.

Step 10: Grand Opening
The Operations Team will be there to assist you and your staff for several days to ensure that everything is operational, functional and successful!
